Superstar writer Ease might by one of my favorite painters ever, and I was lucky enough to find in my quest for inspiration (not painting but creative writing) that Upper Playground posted his interview on WalrusTV.
If you don't dig his paintings, something might be wrong with you, but you'll probably still dig his pieces. Big inspiration for me.
