I spent most of my day packing, or running around doing errands preparing for my trip. I leave for the airport in about two hours, and I imagine I will be sleeping on the majority of the flight since I've made the foolish decision to stay up all night. However it's probably better that way anyway because I hate flying these days since I have been searched almost every single time I've been on a plane these last two years. If I am really tired then I don't care about my civil liberties that much.
"Yes, I understand you want me to wait in this corral. Oh, you are going to use the back of your hands to pat down my balls? Fine by me, thank you security officer for keeping me safe."
I made a discovery the other day, and thought it was a fluke so I wasn't going to share it until I was absolutely sure: Peanut Butter & Jam & Chili Powder. It's so awesome. I know some of you are barfing right now, but really it's the greatest thing ever. I recommend "Tajin" brand, or as my gal calls it "Mexican Spice."
Speaking of leaving, if you are a loyal reader to my blog (which google analytics informs me that there are really no loyal readers and that I'm just leading myself on...) I apologize because I will probably be taking a hiatus from blogging during my trip,l seeing as the internet is few and far between in Mexico. Plus I don't really want to spend my vacation in front of a computer screen... Ok, well, maybe a few updates... I don't know, we'll see what happens.
To any friends of mine reading: Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanza, Have a Terrible Festivus, and Happy New Year. New Years and Halloween are my favorite holidays, so I'm definitely looking forward to that.
Oh, and if you read my blog, don't be too shy to comment. It will keep my hopes up and inspire me to keep writing... unless of course you are my mother, in which case if I find out you've been reading my blog I will immediately shut it down... Haha.
Good morning and good night.
