Advances in technology will give us more time for leisure

I don't know if it's the music or the narrator, but this video is really frightening to me. Perhaps made scarier by the fact that some of these things do exist, and I can only assume the others are on their way. Do you think that in medieval times people feared the advances of the horse drawn carriage and the modern science of superstition? Am I out of touch with today's youth?
