That is referring to the snow.
I just thought I'd explain something...
I was born near the equator. Usually I don't mind the cold too much, but some days I just want to kick mother nature down a flight of stairs. I checked the weather today to see about trying to set up a sledding club excursion, and it read:
-4 degrees and sunny (real feel -28)
Really? Are you kidding me. Sometimes people think, "Oh, -28 isn't that bad." But then you have to do our stupid math, and realize that that is actually 60 degrees below freezing. 100 degrees below comfortable. I can't really fathom that people ever made a city here. Doesn't anyone know that the South is warm. Couldn't we just leave the northern landmasses as a wilderness reserve?
Okay, usually I wouldn't be bothered that much by -28. Okay, whatever. Except I'm kicking myself for leaving NYU right about now because New York is 65 degrees and partly sunny. And how about home? Mexcio City is 70 degrees. So Mexico City is roughly 100 degrees warmer than it is outside my window at this very moment. And I am off to go work in my friend Daniel Chen's garage building canvases for children...
Later today will be all homework and stuff. I'm going to try to do some internet trolling later on because I want to put together a blog post that isn't about myself, plus if it's art related I'll double post it to the Walker website and get paid for my time... haha.
Anyone that wants to join sledding club click here.
