Goodnight

COLORS might be my favorite magazine. I just took a peek at an issue from off of my bookshelf and I decided that the layout is beautiful, and the topics are interesting. I also really think that the best looking magazine around is Wired. They must have one of the most talented art directors and an amazing graphic design team... It's really well put together. By far the most displeasing magazine (at least aesthetically) is Paste. Seven fonts of different sizes and no continuity throughout your magazine, plus clashing colors and really poorly designed jumps make me hate it. Absolutely.

(EDIT: When I went looking for the url to Paste's website so I could link it I also decided that although I am more of a fan of their website layout than their magazine, it is still way too clustered and cluttered and small).

Sorry, that was rather strange, but one thought led to the next.
I was thinking about recording a song just now... but then my eyelids got heavy very quickly and I decided against it.

To do list:
1. Call NYU for a transcript before winter break.
2. UMN transcript before winter break
3. High school transcript and ACT scores.

Sorry to share that with everyone but it is convenient to post to do lists on your blogs because then you can reach them anywhere that you have the internet.

I'm working vigorously on lyrics to a song and I keep stumbling at one part, but I think it is my key change that it throwing me off. I have to maybe take the drums out so I can write something and put them back in afterward...

This post is uneventful, but if you learned anything read COLORS. It might offend some people but I think it's worth sifting through discomfort.

And with that I shall close my eyes and sleep.
