You may have noticed my unusual header for my blog. It consists of a certain color combination I've been developing as sort of a 'signature' in a lot of paintings and pieces of artwork over the last four years. I originally created it by cutting out color fields from magazines and pasting them on to canvases, and then I began to incorporate the colors in actual paint. Well, apparently it got jacked by Kate Spade, handbag designer (this is all speculation really, but check out how similar it is!).
Say word Kate Spade? Black followed by teal/greenish blue, followed by yellow, followed by dark green, with red and magenta? Take a look at my banner. Am I crazy?

I decided this is an omen, and I will now quit Illustration and transfer into textile design. Word is bond.
