Recently I have been very busy because I started school again. It is fun, but it is a rough transition. I have not been this tired in a very long time, not since I can remember.
I have wrecked my body because I joined a www.meetup.com group for Parkour in my area. I went to a meet-up, and it was very fun, but I didn't realize how much more I needed to practice and stretch. Ouch.
Yesterday was my first free day in two weeks, I spent it not painting a wall (because of the rain) and recording songs with my friend Adrian Gorder for our upcoming album, which I am very excited about. I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast, but it's like hot butter on a breakfast toast. Last night, ater Adro left I started a song that I am very proud of, because it is not everyday that I am inspired to write, but all of a sudden it happened. This afternoon I recorded one song with my friend Donald, and we watched my computer die and my desk fall apart. He also did me the great favor of writing an excellent verse for my song, "Missing You." I promise I'm not in an emo group.
Right now I am very tired and should be headed to bed, but I was just finishing up my proposal for my first animation project in my class "Time and Interactivity" which when I read the class description I thought was going to be about graphic design. Turn out I was completely wrong, but the name of the course makes more sense now. Anyway, I had to write my project proposal and post it to my class blog, which just makes me realize how every facet of life is moving toward more technology. It's a bit strange.
I'm thinking about whether or not I will buy a small sandwich for lunch tomorrow or bring something with me and search for a microwave. Maybe I'll have to make a sandwich before I leave tomorrow. A sandwich and an apple. That wouldn't be so bad.
OH! This is a reminder to myself to write about the Walker Art Center's Ocean Fiasco and Hostage Negotiation. But not tonight, I am off to bed.
